I just found out that I work Saturday.... YEA! The first weekend I work this year and sure enough it falls right onto this.
I need to be on the road to work no later than 1PM. So I guess I could come out early?

MENU !!! What are we going to eat? We've decided that we want to fry some vegetables, pickles, bread dough, maybe some speed beef, now let's get serious about it. Who wants what and who's supplying what? The club rental, cooker, grill, propane, cooking oil and most utensils are taken care of. Who supplied the thermometer for the last cookout? That's one thing I don't have yet, we need one and I'd like to be able to borrow the one we had in December if it's available now. I'll also supply the dough for pitsafritz and some hot dogs and sausages for the grill, (as well as the buns). fingers said: Who's going to supply the dip/coating for them? More importantly, what's the main course? We don't even have a theme yet, do we want fish, fur, or feathers?

BradDo you have keys? I talked to fingers on the phone last night and he told me that you were in charge of the dipping ingredients. Eggs, flour, Bisquick, salt, pepper, panko bread crumbs, milk,..... I have a nearly full box of Jiffy Baking Mix (basically the same as Bisquick) that I'll supply. I have a pretty good size Tupperware mixing bowl that we can use too. I guess measuring cups and spoons would be in order too, I have them. I have extra salt & pepper shakers specifically for such occasions, I'll make sure they're full. We'll probably need at least one more gallon of peanut oil, do we have any volunteers for that? He also told me that the thermometer we used the last time was mine! Damn, I didn't know I had one but he said it was in the kettle when he opened the box. SWEET, I guess I should have opened the box before the cookout to see what I really had. I'll be going out some time today to check on things to make sure everything is in order. Does anyone want to supply some "Little Smokies" sausages? Fingers mentioned those and that sounds pretty good to me.
